Workout Points and a Plateau?
I just re-started WW a few weeks ago and have begun working out, as well. I need to lose about 150 pounds and have lost 22 so far. My problem is that I have plateaued (for two straight weeks now) and am not sure why. I am hiking/treadmill-ing for at least 3 miles (1 hour) each day and watching my points, but I can't seem to break through. I am logging my food points, but I am not logging my workout points, if that makes a difference.
Am I exercising too much? Do I need to account for (deposit) my exercise points and eat more - that seems counter-intuitive to me, but I'm just not sure.

i have heard that when people plateau , they take the daily points and times them by 7, to make them weekly points. then you switch up each day, going over and under (daily) points aand by the end of the week just make sure you haven't gone over the weekly total.
i hope that makes sense? and like i said, i haven't experienced this but have read a few things online about people doing that and it working.
Try this.
Work out twice a day, once in the morning (to jump start your metabolism) and again in the evening (to keep it up during the night). Make sure you are working out in your target HR zone. I am 33 so mine is about 133-150. By a HR monitor (not expensive) so you can monitor your status during workouts. Cut fats down if you need too.
It does sound counter intuitive but it is true that your body (and WW) knows how much you need to eat to lose.
That amount is All your daily and activity points and most or all of your weekly points.
Eating too little is just as bad as eating too much.
I lost 142 pounds and was a Leader for 3 years.
My advice would be to eat your AP's

I had a similar problem. I lost more when I started eating my Activity Points (or at least most of them); and lose even better when I increase my fruit & veggie intake. (instead of using my AP's for snack-type stuff.)
MINUS 3 POINTS ON YOU PLAN AS I DID AND I THEN STARTED LOOSING 1 1/2 POUNDS PER WWEK I WAS NOT TOTALY HONEST WHEN I ENTERED MY FOOD POINTS THIS MADE ME HONEST....
I am having the exact same problem. At least I think I do. I am losing, but nothing more than a pound or two a week. I have started working out too. I asked my WW leader and was told that even if you earn 8 or 9 activity points a day, you can only use 4 each of those to swap out for food points. But now, I am starting to not eat all of my points and today at weigh in, I was overcome with this feeling of defeat. And I too have over 150 lbs. to lose. I think this could be a mental feeling that w/ so much to lose, one or two pounds a weeks doesn't seem fair.
